Hello!

My name is Ava, and I am a Freshman at Chatham University. I am pursuing a degree in Policy Studies, as I am very passionate about political activism and using my voice to benefit the world.     

To the left, you will see a photo of my boyfriend, Jacob and I. He is a sophomore at Chatham University, and I spend 99.9% of my time with him by my side.

Though I may look like just your average white girl posing for a picture, I have been exploring the wilderness around my home in Western Maryland for 18 years and counting. I love the natural world, and I especially enjoy kayaking, hiking, fishing, skiing, and swimming.

I am an only child, so my parents have been a very large part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I spend most of my time with my friends, like with my close friend Ashley, who is attending St. Vincent college.

I also spend my days singing, writing, acting, listening to music, and watching shows like the Office, Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, the Great British Baking Show, and the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

I am not entirely sure what I want to do with my life yet, but I am more than ready for the challenges ahead, and I am going into college with an open heart and open mind. ❇
